Acupuncture has been shown to:

- Increase blood flow to the reproductive organs
- Improve flow of lymph and fluids
- Reduce stress and anxiety
- Reduce soft tissue pain and tension and improve recovery of injured tissues
What to expect:
When pursuing treatment for men’s health, we usually recommend clustering visits closer together initially (usually once per week), and then gradually lengthening the amount of time between sessions as your body starts to respond to the acupuncture. We look for improvements in intensity, frequency, and duration of symptoms, as well as improvements in daily function. Our end goal is to get you to a place where you don’t need to come in for treatment anymore, or we space visits out to a maintenance plan that works for you.
Both our practitioners are well-versed in treating both men’s and women’s sexual health conditions and are adept at making patients feel comfortable discussing their health condition openly and honestly. Acupuncture is also unique in that we don’t need to work locally on the body to affect change – so for erectile dysfunction, for instance, needles may be placed in the legs and feet, hands, and abdomen, but there is no needling of the pelvis or groin, and patients typically receive treatment wearing shorts and a t-shirt. This makes acupuncture a comfortable and non-invasive treatment for sexual health conditions.
Treatments may consist of acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine recommendations, cupping and gua sha manual therapy, moxibustion, as well as nutrition/activity/lifestyle recommendations.
We will work with you at your first visit to solidify a treatment plan based on your unique experience.
